Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Casablanca - Rabat

Meet your guide at Casablanca airport. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a brief visit of the economic capital with its famous Hassan II Mosque, then depart for Rabat. Historical visit of the administrative capital of Morocco, including: the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Kasbah of the Udayas and its Andalusian gardens, the medina of Salé, and the Chellah Necropolis. Dinner & overnight in Rabat.

Day 2Rabat - Asilah - Tanger

After breakfast, depart for the “Princess of the North,” the city of Tangier. Stop at the town of Larache: visit the port, the Liberation Square, and the Portuguese ruins of the Cigogne Castle, as well as the ancient site of Lixus. Visit the city of Asilah: explore the medina and its Portuguese ramparts. At 10 km from Tangier, visit the Hercules Caves and Cape Spartel. Dinner & overnight in Tangier.

Day 3Tanger - Visite

This day is dedicated to visiting Tangier, starting with the Kasbah, the soul of the city. Separated from the medina by ramparts, the Kasbah is a district of old palaces overlooking the port and the city, where prehistoric and ancient remains can be found. Visit Dar el Makhzen, rebuilt in 1740 and now housing the Museum of Moroccan Arts, featuring Moroccan handicrafts, bronzes, and mosaics from Roman sites such as Lixus, Cotta, Banasa, and Volubilis. Explore the Grand and Petit Socco, the Cervantes Theater, and the famous Café Hafa, established in the 1920s on a cliffside terrace where celebrities like The Beatles, Randy Weston, and Sean Connery have enjoyed traditional mint tea.

Day 4Tanger - Tetouan - Chefchaouen

Depart for Chefchaouen along the Mediterranean coast via Tetouan. Chefchaouen, located at 600 meters altitude in the Rif Mountains, gets its name from the Amazigh word meaning “the horns,” referring to the surrounding peaks. The region is rich in historical monuments, forests, and diverse flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5Chefchaouen - Fes

Travel to Fes through the Djebbala region, home to mountain communities. Enjoy lunch along the way and stop in Ouazzane, known for olive oil production and wood carving. Cross the Zagouta plateau and arrive in Fes for dinner and overnight.

Day 6Visite de la capitale spirituelle du Maroc

After breakfast, spend the day exploring Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. In Fes el Bali, the historic heart of the city, visit the medina, the Attarine Madrasa built between 1323 and 1325, the Bou Anania Madrasa constructed between 1350 and 1357 by Sultan Abu Inane, Nejjarine Fountain, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the famous Karaouine Mosque, with entry restricted to non-Muslims. Enjoy lunch in the medina before visiting Fes Jdid, the imperial city built by the Merinids in the 13th century, which houses the Royal Palace and the old Mellah. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7Fès – Visite de la capitale spirituelle du Maroc

Continue exploring Fes, revisiting the highlights of Fes el Bali and Fes Jdid with their historical sites. Lunch will be served in the medina. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8Fès - Volubilis – Meknès - Casablanca

After breakfast, depart for Rabat via Volubilis, Morocco’s most significant archaeological site with extensive Roman ruins. Continue to Meknes, the historic capital of Sultan Moulay Ismail, for lunch and visits to Bab Mansour, the royal stables, and the Jewish quarter. Travel onward to Casablanca via Rabat for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
